ROMIGE HAVER / CASHEWMELK - Mulsi

CREAMY OATS / CASHEW MILK

Oat milk has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years. And to be honest, we are also huge fans of a tasty oat cappu from time to time!

That's why it's so nice that you can now make your own oat milk easily and quickly! We like to add a handful of cashews to our oats when we make milk, because cashew nuts provide a creamy taste and texture. And that is very tasty in your coffee!

Do you leave out the cashews? Then this milk is ideal for people with a nut allergy or lactose intolerance. Plus, oats are packed with fiber, which can help with healthy digestion. You don't need much for a tasty oat milk, just take a look:

What do you need?

A handful / 90 grams of oat flakes (you can soak them, but you don't have to)
800 ml water
1 tablespoon organic honey or other sweetener (optional)
(and if you want to make your oat milk creamier? Then add a handful of cashew nuts!)

What are you going to do?

1. Add 800 ml of fresh water into the BASIN
2. Place the oats (and possibly the cashews) in the STRAINER
4. MIX everything with a hand blender
5. Remove the STRAINER and press everything in the sieve with the PESTLE to separate the milk from the pulp.
6. Stir the agave syrup, the drop(s) of vanilla and the pinch of salt into the milk to taste.

This milk is of course super tasty and healthy to drink, but also perfect for your cappuccino, pancakes or a tasty breakfast! Don't forget to use the remaining oat/nut shavings. For example, you can bake delicious cookies from it, use it as a topping for your breakfast or as the basis for your pancakes!

Enjoy!
