VERSE AMANDELMELK - Mulsi

FRESH ALMOND MILK

With just a handful of ingredients and a little love, you'll be amazed at how easy it is to make your own almond milk. If you have the MULSI and a hand blender, it's less than 5 minutes of work. The alternative is to use a (thin) cheesecloth and a blender. It just takes a bit more time and makes a bit more mess.Anyway: the result is to die for! 

 

 

What do you need?

2 handfuls / 140 grams of almonds
800 ml water
1 squeeze of agave syrup or other sweetener (optional)
A drop of vanilla extract (or pinch of vanilla powder)
A pinch of (Celtic) sea salt

What are you going to do?

1. Soak the almonds in water for at least 6 hours.
2. Add 800 ml of fresh water to the BASIN
3. Put the almonds in the SIEVE
4.MIX the almonds in the sieve with a hand blender until they are pulverized
5. Remove the SIEVE and press everything that is in the sieve with the PESTLE to separate the milk from the pulp.
6. Stir the agave syrup, the drop(s) of vanilla and the pinch of salt to taste into the milk.

And just like that, you have super quick, super easy homemade fresh almond milk! Enjoy!
